No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to expand what the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality may expend from surcharge revenues collected for the expedited processing of air permit applications to include full time equivalent positions. Based on the analysis of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
