May 1, 2019

TO:
Honorable Kelly Hancock, Chair, Senate Committee on Business & Commerce

FROM:

IN RE:
SB732 by Hughes (Relating to the regulation of the practice of physical therapy.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Department of Insurance indicates there would be minimal workload associated with the bill, which it would absorb within existing resources.  It is assumed that the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners would absorb the cost of establishing rules to implement the bill.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
