SB761 by Hinojosa (Relating to the regulation of oyster harvesting; increasing a criminal penalty.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code concerning certain offenses related to the illegal harvesting of oysters. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration and the Parks and Wildlife Department, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources. In addition, court cost revenue increases resulting from provisions of the bill are not anticipated to be significant.
