The bill would amend the Government Code to extend certain statutorily required training to emergency management coordinators in certain counties.

According to the Department of Public Safety, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill is not expected to have a significant fiscal impact on counties.
