IN RE:
SB874 by Huffman (Relating to forms for creating or revoking a transfer on death deed.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to allow the Supreme Court of Texas to promulgate a form for use to create a transfer on death deed and a form for use to create the revocation of a transfer on death deed. The bill would amend the Estates Code by repealing the listed forms that may be used to create a transfer or revocation on a death deed. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
