IN RE:
SB916 by Johnson (Relating to supportive palliative care.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission to adopt rules establishing minimum standards for the scope and delivery of supportive palliative care services. The bill would also authorize the commissioner to establish a limited pilot program to deliver supportive palliative care to certain individuals with serious illnesses.
The Health and Human Services Commission assumes that the provisions of the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
