No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to reimbursement of federal military treatment facilities under the workers' compensation system. Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, State Office of Risk Management, Texas Department of Transportation, The University of Texas System Administration, and Texas A&M University System Administration, this analysis assumes the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal impact on counties is anticipated.
