SB966 by Bettencourt (Relating to the location of certain temporary branch early voting polling places.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to place certain restrictions on the location of moveable temporary branch polling places in certain counties.

According to the Secretary of State, the bill would cause a minor fiscal impact on the Secretary of State's office, as the office would have to update its training materials.

Local Government Impact

According to Cameron County, the bill is anticipated to increase the cost of the November General Election and Primary Elections by at least $70,000 per election.
