No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Agriculture Code to expand the definition of citrus nursery to include a producer of citrus trees propagated from cuttings. Under current law, a citrus nursery is defined as a producer of citrus trees propagated through budding or grafting. The Department of Agriculture has indicated that the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.
