No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code and the Tax Code to authorize certain municipalities to adopt a land bank program, specifies certain operational procedures for these programs, and includes the programs that would be authorized by the bill in an enumerated list of charitable functions.
