IN RE:
SB1177 by Menéndez (Relating to offering certain evidence-based practices in lieu of other mental health services by a Medicaid managed care organization.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to allow a Medicaid managed care organization to offer medically appropriate, cost-effective, evidence-based practices in lieu of mental health services specified in the state plan. It is assumed implementing the provisions of the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
