SB1190 by Bettencourt (Relating to the residence address of a voter for purposes of a response to a confirmation notice sent by the voter registrar.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Based on analysis by the Secretary of State, the provisions of the bill relating to voter registration would result in one-time implementation costs for the Texas Elections Administration Management (TEAM) system. However, it is assumed that these costs could be absorbed using existing resources. The Department of Public Safety indicates there would be no cost to the agency to implement the provisions of the bill.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
