SB1470 by Powell (Relating to a political subdivision's adoption of zoning regulations for certain coin-operated machines.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code to authorize political subdivision to adopt zoning regulations to govern certain coin-operated machines.  It repeals a requirement that this zoning follow the principal use of the property and that authorizes the prohibition of these machines in certain circumstances.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would not have a significant impact on cities.

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill would have no impact on counties.
