No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to specify a procedure for the separation of fire prevention and emergency medical services in a district established to perform both functions.

Local Government Impact

The fiscal implications of the bill to districts that could separate under its provisions cannot be determined at this time.
