No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to specify a procedure for the separation of fire prevention and emergency medical services in a district established to perform both functions.

Local Government Impact

According to Harris County, the bill would not have any fiscal impact to the county.
