No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to require separate reporting for the total number of votes cast on election day, through early voting in person, and through early voting by mail.

According to the Secretary of State, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact. The office would update advisory materials and certification procedures within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to Cameron County, the county does not anticipate a fiscal impact from the bill.
