No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow the amount credited to Judicial Fund No. 573 for programs approved by the Supreme Court of Texas that provide basic civil legal services to the indigent not to exceed $50.0 million each fiscal year. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
