SB1676 by West (Relating to suits affecting the parent-child relationship and the enforcement of child support.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family, Labor, and Property Codes relating to child support enforcement in suits affecting the parent-child relationship.

Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, State Office of Risk Management, Texas A&M University System and General Offices, Department of Insurance, University of Texas System Administration, Department of Transportation, and Office of the Attorney General, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
