No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize the creation of public facilities corporations by multiple sponsors and would authorize the use of those facilities by certain non-sponsoring units of local government.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill would not have a significant impact on counties.

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would not have a significant impact on cities.
