SB1939 by Hancock (Relating to the storage of grapes in a public warehouse.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Agriculture Code to require a public warehouse operator to issue a receipt to any person who deposits grapes in a warehouse and requests a receipt. Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Agriculture, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
