No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend portions of the Government Code to add affordable housing as a qualifying project for public-private partnerships.
 
The Department of Housing and Community Affairs has indicated there would be no significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

The Texas Association of Counties has indicated there would be no significant fiscal implication to units of local government.
