No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend portions of the Government Code to add affordable housing in certain jurisdictions as a qualifying project for public-private partnerships.
 
The Department of Housing and Community Affairs has indicated there would be no significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

Harris County has indicated there would be no significant fiscal implication to the county.
