SB2086 by Hinojosa (Relating to a single Internet portal through which Medicaid providers may submit and receive information.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to consolidate certain electronic or internet portals. HHSC would need to require managed care organizations to allow providers to use the consolidated portal. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the available resources of the commission.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
