No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Property Code to modify certain requirements for documents to be eligible for official recording. The bill would also provide the required form for declaration of the authenticity of an electronic record.

According to the Office of Court Administration (OCA), no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to OCA, no significant fiscal impact to local courts is anticipated.
