No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code to require water conservation plans for all financial assistance programs offered by the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). According to TWDB, the bill would have minimal impact on the agency as it does not substantively change most water conservation plan requirements, and the agency could implement the provisions of the bill could be implemented with existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
