IN RE:
SB2354 by Zaffirini (Relating to judicial review of acts by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to change permissible time frames upon which a person affected by a ruling, order, decision, or other act of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality may file a petition in a district court of Travis County. Based on the analysis of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
