No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Special District Local Laws Code to convert certain public utility districts to municipal utilities districts and establish the powers and duties of these districts.  The bill would repeal provisions of the Acts of the 62nd Legislature as a conforming change.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
