The provisions of the bill addressed by this analysis would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure as it relates to the inclusion of a magistrate's name on certain signed orders. Under the provisions of the bill, certain orders issued under certain codes must include the magistrate's name along with other specific information.
This analysis assumes the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant impact on state correctional populations or the demand for state correctional resources.
