Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 15, 2019, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Springer, at 12:48 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Springer; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Buckley; Burns; Fierro; Meza; and Zwiener.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 1884

 

The chair laid out SB 1884.

 

Representative Anderson, Charles "Doc" moved that SB 1884, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Springer; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Buckley; Burns; Fierro; Meza (6).

 

Nays:                           Representative Zwiener (1).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Beckley; Raymond (2).

 

SB 814

 

The chair laid out SB 814 as pending business.

 

Representative Buckley offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Buckley moved that SB 814, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Springer; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Buckley; Burns; Fierro; Meza; Zwiener (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).
