Pursuant to a notice posted on February 12, 2019, a suspension of all necessary rules on February 19, 2019, and permission granted on February 19, 2019 to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 1:25 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Bohac; Anderson, Charles “Doc”; Cole; Dominguez; Huberty; and Rosenthal.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

 

The committee heard invited testimony on demographic and political trends in Texas.

At 3:04 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
