Pursuant to a notice posted on April 29, 2019, and permission granted on April 29, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 6:26 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Bohac; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Biedermann; Cole; Dominguez; and Rosenthal.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair directed that the April 23, 2019 minutes for the House Committee on County Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

SB 2128

 

The chair laid out SB 2128.

 

Representative Bohac offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Bohac moved that SB 2128, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Coleman; Bohac; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Biedermann; Cole; Dominguez; Rosenthal (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Huberty; Stickland (2).

 

At 6:30 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
