Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 20, 2019, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 8:11 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Bohac; Anderson, Charles "Doc"; Huberty; and Rosenthal.

A quorum was present.

The committee heard invited testimony on details surrounding the Sandra Bland case.

Representatives Thierry, Collier, Sherman, Reynolds, Hinojosa, Moody, Goodwin, Wu, Meza, Chris Turner and Senator West were also in attendance.

At 10:00 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
