Pursuant to a notice posted on December 16, 2019, revised on January 16, 2020, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Klick, at 1:03 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Klick; Bucy; Cain; Fierro; Israel; and Middleton.

A quorum was present.

The committee met to take testimony on Interim Charge #1: Conduct active oversight of rulemaking and other governmental actions taken to ensure intended legislative outcome and  implementation of certain legislation passed by the 86^th Legislature.
