Pursuant to a notice posted on February 8, 2019, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, Chris, at 8:01 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Turner, Chris; Stucky; Button; Frullo; Johnson, Eric; Pacheco; and Wilson.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The Committee heard testimony from the State Demographer.

At 9:54 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until during reading and referral of bills.

 

The committee reconvened at 12:16 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, Chris.

 

The quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Turner, Chris; Stucky; Button; Howard; Pacheco; and Walle.

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Committee heard testimony on Title IX.
