Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 6, 2019, and permission granted on May 6, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Insurance met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Lucio III, at 5:30 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Lucio III; Oliverson; Johnson, Julie; Lambert; Paul; Turner, Chris; and Vo.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 1264

 

The chair laid out SB 1264, the Senate companion to HB 3933.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
