Pursuant to a notice posted on May 2, 2019, revised on May 2, 2019, the House Committee on Land & Resource Management met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Craddick, at 8:11 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Craddick; Muñoz, Jr.; Bell, Cecil; Biedermann; Canales; Minjarez; Stickland; and Thierry.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 608.

The chair recognized Representative Flynn to explain SB 608.

The chair laid out SB 1303 and SB 1304.

The chair recognized Representative Bell, Cecil to explain SB 1303 and SB 1304.

The chair recognized Representative Bell, Cecil to close on SB 1303 and SB 1304.

The chair moved that SB 1303, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Craddick; Muñoz, Jr.; Bell, Cecil; Biedermann; Canales; Leman; Stickland; Thierry (8).

Nays:                           None (0).

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
