Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 13, 2019, and permission granted on March 13, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Murphy, at 11:49 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Murphy; Capriglione; Flynn; Gervin-Hawkins; Gutierrez; Lambert; Stephenson; and Wu.

The chair laid out HB 440 as pending business.

Representative Gutierrez offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Flynn moved that HB 440, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Representative Lambert offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Gervin-Hawkins moved that HB 477, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
