Pursuant to a notice posted on January 24, 2019, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Huberty, at 8:10 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Huberty; Bernal; Allen; Allison; Ashby; Bell, Keith; González, Mary; King, Ken; Meyer; Sanford; Talarico; and VanDeaver.

A quorum was present.
