Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 17, 2019, and permission granted on May 17, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Nevárez, at 9:47 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Nevárez; Paul; Burns; Calanni; Clardy; Goodwin; Lang; and Tinderholt.

A quorum was present.

The chair directed that the May 15, 2019, upon final adjourn./recess or during bill reading and referral if permission granted, meeting minutes for the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

At 9:49 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
