Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 15, 2019, and permission granted on May 15, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Button, at 3:34 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Button; Shaheen; Goodwin; Johnson, Eric; Middleton; Morales; Patterson; and Swanson.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 452 as pending business.

Representative Middleton moved that SB 452, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Button; Shaheen; Goodwin; Johnson, Eric; Middleton; Morales; Patterson; Swanson (8).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representative González, Jessica (1).

At 3:36 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
