Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 15, 2019, and permission granted on May 15, 2019, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Burrows, at 3:01 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Burrows; Bohac; Martinez Fischer; Murphy; Noble; Rodriguez; and Sanford.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 2194

 

The chair laid out SB 2194.

 

Representative Rodriguez offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Rodriguez moved that SB 2194, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
