The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. There being a quorum present at 9:29 AM, the following business was transacted:
The following members arrived after the roll was called: Senator Peter Flores, Senator Juan Hinojosa, Senator Bryan Hughes, and Senator Beverly Powell.
Senator Zaffirini moved that testimony be limited to 2 minutes per witness; without objection, it
was so ordered.
