Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Senate Chamber Review was held on Monday, November 23, 2020, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:15 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The Chair called Dealey Herndon and Ali James to provide testimony on the history and procedure related to the placement of art and other décor in the Texas Senate Chamber (see attached witness list).

 

There being no further business, at 11:35 AM Senator Hughes moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the Chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
