No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Election and Government Codes related to voter registration and citizenship status.  It would require a voter registrar to provide notice of unlawful voting or registration to the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) and the Secretary of State (SOS) and would also require the SOS to obtain citizenship information from the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to compare on a monthly basis to voter registration records.
