R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Walton-Gray Martin has ably served his fellow Texans |
|
as an aide in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during |
|
the 87th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Martin has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Martin previously served in the office of State |
|
Representative Ryan Guillen; in addition, he has organized |
|
fundraising efforts for political campaigns and worked as a |
|
congressional outreach manager for Texas Impact; he is a graduate |
|
of The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a bachelor's |
|
degree in journalism; and |
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed his duties as a |
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Walton-Gray Martin |
|
for his service as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
Representative Ann Johnson and extends its sincerest best wishes |
|
for continued success in all his endeavors; and be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Martin as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
