R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Gonzalez has ably served his fellow Texans as |
|
|
deputy legislative director in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Ann Johnson during the 87th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With his resourcefulness and initiative, |
|
|
Mr. Gonzalez has earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his |
|
|
contributions to carrying forth Representative Johnson's |
|
|
legislative agenda have helped address issues facing citizens |
|
|
across the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In his role as deputy legislative director, |
|
|
Mr. Gonzalez has provided detailed analyses of a variety of bills, |
|
|
resolved concerns from constituents, and trained new interns; he |
|
|
previously served as a legislative aide and grants manager in the |
|
|
office of State Representative Ryan Guillen, as a legislative aide |
|
|
in the office of State Senator Beverly Powell, and as a policy |
|
|
analyst in the office of State Senator José Menéndez; a graduate of |
|
|
The University of Texas at Austin, he holds a bachelor's degree in |
|
|
government with a minor in history; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his |
|
|
duties as deputy legislative director with skill and dedication, |
|
|
and he is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Robert Charles |
|
|
Gonzalez for his service as deputy legislative director in the |
|
|
office of State Representative Ann Johnson and extends its |
|
|
sincerest best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Gonzalez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
