H.R. No. 184
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Jacob Pesikoff has ably served his fellow Texans as
  an intern in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during
  the 87th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Pesikoff has provided
  vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
  including conducting policy research, tracking bills, and meeting
  with constituents and advocacy groups; in addition to gaining
  valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned
  more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
  of the Lone Star State; and
         WHEREAS, An alumnus of St. John's School in Houston,
  Mr. Pesikoff graduated with honors from Williams College; while
  pursuing his mathematics degree, he served as head class
  development agent for the school and was a member of Sigma Xi and
  the analytics club; moreover, he has completed internships with the
  Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in the chambers of the Honorable
  Jennifer Elrod, the offices of U.S. Congress members Richard Neal
  and Lizzie Fletcher, Angerholzer Broz Consulting, a judicial
  campaign, and Sunnova Energy; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Jacob Pesikoff for
  his service as a legislative intern in the office of State
  Representative Ann Johnson and extends its sincerest best wishes
  for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Pesikoff as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
