R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Caitlin Rowley has ably served her fellow Texans as |
|
|
an aide in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during the |
|
|
87th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rowley has provided |
|
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
|
including supporting Representative Johnson in her role on the |
|
|
House Appropriations Committee, researching Medicaid and the |
|
|
Children's Health Insurance Program, and tracking and analyzing |
|
|
state health policy proposals; in addition to gaining valuable |
|
|
experience in the field of public service, she has learned more |
|
|
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|
|
Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Rowley previously interned with the House State |
|
|
Affairs Committee and with The Sheridan Group in Washington, D.C.; |
|
|
in May 2021, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin |
|
|
Liberal Arts Honors Program with a bachelor's degree in health and |
|
|
society; she has further distinguished herself as co-chair of The |
|
|
Crohn's and Colitis Foundation National Council of College Leaders |
|
|
and as a member of the Texas Children's Hospital Patient Advisory |
|
|
Board; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |
|
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|
|
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Caitlin Rowley for |
|
|
her service as a legislative aide in the office of State |
|
|
Representative Ann Johnson and extends its sincerest best wishes |
|
|
for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rowley as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
