R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Eduardo Zuniga Jr. is retiring from the U.S. Navy as |
|
|
a senior chief hull maintenance technician (surface warfare) on |
|
|
November 1, 2021; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Eddie Zuniga answered his nation's call to duty by |
|
|
joining the U.S. Navy in April 2000, and over the course of his |
|
|
exemplary 21-year career, he has been assigned to Ellington Field |
|
|
Joint Reserve Base in Houston; moreover, he has been a member of the |
|
|
U.S. Navy Reserve for more than two decades and currently serves as |
|
|
senior enlisted advisor and executive officer; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In civilian life, Mr. Zuniga works as a financial |
|
|
advisor with Edward Jones; he is an alumnus of the University of |
|
|
Houston, where he studied finance, and he is certified as an |
|
|
accredited asset management specialist; in all his endeavors, he |
|
|
enjoys the love and support of his wife, Thu Nguyen; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Eddie Zuniga's expertise, professionalism, and |
|
|
devotion to duty have greatly benefited his fellow Americans, and |
|
|
he may indeed reflect with pride on his outstanding record of |
|
|
military service as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his |
|
|
life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby congratulate Eduardo |
|
|
Zuniga Jr. on his retirement from the U.S. Navy as a senior chief |
|
|
hull maintenance technician and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Zuniga as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
