R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Mahesh's Kitchen, a new Indian restaurant in Sugar
  Land, celebrated its grand opening on September 10, 2021; and
         WHEREAS, Situated in the Sugar Land Town Square retail
  development, Mahesh's Kitchen was established by the
  husband-and-wife team of Neelesh and Shubhangi Musale, and it was
  named in honor of Ms. Musale's younger brother, Mahesh Puranik, who
  was admitted to the famed Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris,
  but passed away before he could attend; and
         WHEREAS, This fine-dining restaurant features a
  2,000-square-foot interior centered around an exhibition kitchen
  and a bar, with seating for 85 in the main dining room and 26 on the
  patio; relying on fresh organic ingredients, the menu includes
  traditional Indian homestyle favorites and family recipes as well
  as modern fusion dishes; every three months, the restaurant will
  receive a shipment of 300 pounds of spices from India, ground under
  the direction and specifications of Mr. Musale's aunt; and
         WHEREAS, Independent businesses that reflect the vibrant
  cultural diversity of their communities are to be commended for the
  important role they play in the spirit and prosperity of the Lone
  Star State, and it is a pleasure to welcome Mahesh's Kitchen to the
  Sugar Land culinary scene; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature, 3rd Called Session, hereby commemorate the grand
  opening of Mahesh's Kitchen and extend to Neelesh and Shubhangi
  Musale and their staff sincere best wishes for success; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the restaurant as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
